ID21’s Charles Monat offices in Singapore harmoniously blends elegance and functionality through open collaborative spaces, luxurious finishes, and abundant natural light, reflecting the firm’s sophistication and promoting a dynamic work environment.
A Blend of Elegance and Functionality
Charles Monat, a wealth management firm with over 50 years of experience, sought to create an environment that embodies sophistication, collaboration, and warmth. The new office design masterfully balances these elements, resulting in a space that is both minimalist and inviting.
Working closely with Charles Monat, we proposed an open plan consisting of a spacious boardroom and four meeting rooms for more private discussions, complemented by a versatile work café that doubles up as an informal hosting and gathering space.
Brand Integration
The design capitalises on the building’s natural assets, leveraging abundant natural light and panoramic views to create a sense of openness and fluidity.
In wanting to incorporate the company’s corporate colour palette for a brand-led environment, copper and rose gold accents feature prominently throughout the space. A striking entrance showcases a floor-to-ceiling bronze-tinted mirror juxtaposed against a logo wall with an elegant marble finish. Here, the strategic use of greenery adds privacy and tranquillity.
Functionality and Flexibility
The design prioritises functionality without compromising aesthetics. Double-glazed operable walls with privacy frosting in the boardroom ensure that meetings can be conducted in a quiet setting without distractions from the adjacent work café. On other days, the boardroom can be combined with the work cafe for larger gatherings.
Less is more
Designed with a sleek, minimalist feel, Charles Monat’s new office is characterised by clean lines, smooth textures and a calming, neutral colour palette. Simple furniture in black, white, cream and grey are layered against beige walls and flooring, creating a cocooning atmosphere that’s enhanced by the steady stream of sunlight that fills the space.
This thoughtful design not only reflects Charles Monat’s prestigious brand but also fosters a collaborative and productive work environment. The seamless integration of functionality, brand identity, and aesthetic appeal results in an elegant space that truly embodies the firm’s intent to project quiet confidence and create a more connected workplace.
