Ogen Offices – Jerusalem
DesiRing’s Ogen offices in Jerusalem masterfully combines functionality and warmth, featuring natural materials and calming tones that reflect the nonprofit’s mission to empower underserved communities.
The new offices of Ogen, a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating financial opportunities for underserved populations, are a thoughtful blend of functionality, warmth, and mission-driven design. Located high above the urban landscape, the office offers expansive views and a calming atmosphere that reflects Ogen’s values of transparency, accessibility, and trust.
Designed with a strong emphasis on natural materials, soft textures, and inviting colors, the space seamlessly bridges the gap between professionalism and approachability. The use of wood, woven textures, and curved design elements gives the environment a human-centered feel—perfectly aligned with Ogen’s social mission. Earthy tones and handcrafted details subtly nod to the organization’s roots in community empowerment and financial stability.
A key element of the design is the use of warm terracotta and dark purple hues, carefully selected to echo the shades of sunset visible through the large windows. These tones not only enhance the visual harmony of the space, but also create a poetic connection to the natural beauty outside, reinforcing a sense of calm, inspiration, and continuity between the interior and the world beyond.
The open-plan layout includes a welcoming reception area, cozy collaborative zones, and private meeting rooms. Acoustic ceiling panels and tactile surfaces not only enhance comfort and functionality but also contribute to a serene and focused atmosphere. The integration of indoor plants further softens the space, promoting a sense of well-being and sustainability.
In the conference room, bold patterned wallpaper and organic light fixtures make a striking statement while still maintaining an elegant, composed tone. The overall aesthetic is purposeful yet warm, fostering an environment where innovation in social finance can thrive.
