Huynchi designed the Baker McKenzie offices in Hanoi to embody innovation and sustainability, creating a flexible workspace that enhances collaboration and client interaction while promoting employee well-being.
In a strategic move to redefine their Hanoi workspace, international law firm Baker McKenzie partnered with design-build firm Huynchi to deliver a transformative office environment that blends innovation, sustainability, and functionality. Completed in September 2024, the project reflects the firm’s forward-thinking approach to work and commitment to excellence.
At the heart of the design brief was the goal to enhance the user experience—for both clients and employees—while embracing a new hybrid work model. Huynchi responded with a workspace that is both flexible and inspiring. The office layout was reimagined to accommodate various work styles, offering a mix of collaborative zones, quiet focus areas, and high-performance meeting spaces. Every element is crafted to support the dynamic needs of a modern legal team.
A standout feature of the project is the front-of-house area, which functions as a 5-star meeting hub. Designed to impress and welcome, this space incorporates curated artwork, natural greenery, and high-end finishes, paired with integrated smart technology to deliver a seamless client experience. It sets the tone for the rest of the office—professional, warm, and refined.
Sustainability was a central pillar of the project. Huynchi integrated energy-efficient systems and selected eco-friendly materials to minimize the environmental footprint of the workspace. Air quality, natural light, and acoustics were carefully considered to foster wellness and productivity throughout the office.
Advanced technology plays a vital role in supporting Baker McKenzie’s hybrid work culture. From video-enabled collaboration tools to automated environmental controls, the office is built to empower agility and connection—whether teams are working on-site or remotely.
The new Hanoi office is more than just a physical space; it is a reflection of Baker McKenzie’s evolving identity.
