AIS designed the Shawbrook Bank offices in London as a dynamic and flexible workspace that celebrates company growth and cultural unity, integrating innovative technology and adaptable design to inspire collaboration.
Shawbrook’s new office is more than a workplace; it’s a vibrant reflection of the company’s vision for the future. Creating a space that brings together diverse cultures following acquisitions requires an environment that unifies and fosters a single, dynamic workplace.
The ambition of the exciting workplace transformation was clear: Shawbrook wanted a space that would “wow” their team. The result? A cutting-edge, innovative space that reflects Shawbrook’s commitment to business growth and employee satisfaction, blending style, sustainability, and success in perfect harmony.
The use of dynamic lighting and screens throughout the space, enables the office to quickly adjust to the various identities of Shawbrook and its newly acquired brands, offering a seamless integration of brand agility. The reception desk is equipped with programmable lighting that creates unique patterns, visually reflecting different brand identities in an engaging and compelling manner.
The office layout also emphasises flexibility, featuring spaces like the training room that can easily be transformed into a larger, adaptable space by removing a folding wall. The collaboration area features unique, modular building block furniture that can be rearranged and configured differently to support project work or presentations. Additionally, bespoke meeting pods enhance flexibility, with removable panels that allow Shawbrook to adjust the layout as business needs change over time with minimal cost and effort.
