base zhangjiang

base ZHANGJIANG is a living and SOHO typology mix. It is comprised of a program of ground floor retail, traditional office space, and 60 full-service SOHO and residential apartments in what was a ten-story business hotel. The project rethinks the divide between public and private space extruding the facade, opening up the structure to create a new central atrium, and creating interior facades and spatial programming to cultivate connectivity.
